History

The history activities cover a range of topics within the National Curriculum. These sessions can be altered to suit your needs. Most of the activities are enjoyed in the history rooms in the Court or within the Ancient History Settlement, or even at the authentic World War 1 Trench, providing a truly unique learning experience. Groups often choose to wear period costumes for these activities as they greatly enhance the children’s enjoyment and maximise the learning benefits of the living history programmes.
