Facilities |
Every group is accommodated in its own accommodation
unit, preventing any awkwardness that may arise through sharing with
another school. These accommodation units include the following
dedicated facilities:
- Classroom
- Staff lounge
- Kitchenette for making drinks
- Boot room
- Outdoor play area
Shared Facilities
There are a number of shared facilities on-site. These are often
allocated to individual groups for teaching purposes and can also be
reserved by groups for their own activities. Please enquire before
your visit or ask on arrival if you would like to book a shared
facility and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
- Tudor and Victorian kitchens
- Winchester Hall - large teaching space
- Aelfric Hall - large teaching space
- Low ropes course*
- Confidence Course*
- Lake and Moat for pond dipping, rafting* and kayaking*
- Vegetable gardens*
- Animal pens - including chickens, geese, ducks, pigs, lambs…
- Anglo-Saxon hut*
- Playing fields
- Outdoor hard surface play area
*These activities can only be
enjoyed under the guidance of a Hooke Court tutor
