The accommodation at Hooke Court is
arranged as 5 separate units: GreenLeafe, Honeypot, The Court,
The Gatehouse and The Studio. Each group is allocated its own
accommodation area which is entirely theirs. There are play
areas immediately outside all of the accommodation units as
well as shared playing fields and other facilities within the
grounds. Greenleafe
Sleeps 50 children and 6 staff. Children sleep in bunk bedded
dormitories each accommodating up to 10 children. There are 4
staff bedrooms, a staff lounge and a staff bathroom.
On the ground floor of the
accommodation there is a common room, boot room and
kitchenette equipped with fridge and kettle where groups can
prepare their own bedtime and breaktime drinks if required.
Honeypot
Sleeps 38 children and 5 adults. Children sleep in bunk bedded
dormitories each accommodating up to 8 children. There are 3
staff bedrooms, a staff lounge and staff bathroom.
On the ground floor of the
accommodation there is a common room, boot room and
kitchenette equipped with fridge and kettle where groups can
prepare their own bedtime and breaktime drinks if required.
The Court
Sleeps 44 children and 5 staff. The children sleep in
bunk-bedded dormitories each accommodating up to 8 children.
There are 3 staff bedrooms. Most of the rooms have en-suite
bathrooms.
On the ground floor there is a
classroom, staff lounge, boot area and kitchen for the
preparation of bedtime and breaktime drinks if required.
The Gatehouse
Sleeps 24 children and 4 staff. The children sleep in
bunk-bedded dormitories each accommodating up to 10 children.
There are 3 bathrooms, one of which is purpose-built for
disabled users with toilet, shower and hand basin.
Staff are accommodated in two twin
bedrooms. Each has an en-suite bathroom with shower over bath,
toilet and hand basin.
There is a large open plan kitchen/classroom and a cloakroom
area in the accommodation.
The Studio
Sleeps 10 children and 2 adults with one bathroom for the
adults and one for the children.
Disability Accessability
Some of the accommodation has been
designed to be accessible to wheelchair users. Additionally
there is a mobile home which can be used by any child and/or
their carer during their stay at Hooke Court.
We endeavour to provide all our guests
with the same level of service irrespective of any disability
they may have. Prior to a visit we work to ensure that the
individual needs of any member of the group are met.
